For children
Fun and clear lessons with lots of attention to motivation, rhythm and playing enjoyment.
Electric guitar lessons
Do you want to learn rock, blues, pop, funk, metal or fusion? During electric guitar lessons you work on riffs, solos, scales, bends, vibrato, timing and improvisation. You’ll also learn how to get a great sound from your guitar, amp and any effects.
For advanced players, we can explore technique, theory, solo development, improvisation, speed, phrasing and ensemble playing in more depth.
Acoustic guitar lessons
Acoustic guitar is ideal for singer-songwriters, pop music, accompaniment and fingerstyle. You’ll learn chords, strumming patterns, picking patterns, dynamics and how to musically accompany yourself or someone else.
Even if you just want to play beautiful songs at home, acoustic guitar lessons are a perfect choice.
Our teaching method
Practical, personal and focused on music you love to play.
1. Getting to know you
We discuss your level, experience and musical preferences.
2. Lesson plan
You get an approach that matches your goals.
3. Playing
You learn primarily by making real music.
4. Progress
Each lesson builds on the previous one.
Many students practice hard, but not always in the right way. That’s why we also focus on how you practice effectively at home. A few focused minutes a day often yield better results than long practice sessions without a plan.
During lessons we combine technique, rhythm, ear training, theory and musicality. We only use theory where it’s practically helpful. This keeps learning guitar fun, clear and directly applicable.
You receive all lesson materials and course books from us. They were developed in-house by House of Guitars.
