Which gauges are in the PRS Signature Strings Heavy set?

The set runs from .012 to .052, with a .012 top string.

Is this the heaviest PRS Signature Strings set?

Yes, with a .012 top string this is the heaviest set in the PRS Signature Strings range.

Do I need a setup after switching to heavier strings?

A setup check of intonation and neck relief is recommended whenever you change to a different gauge, because string tension changes.

Why are heavier strings used?

Heavier gauges increase string tension. Players often choose them for a firm feel, a full sound or lower tunings.

Descrizione
