This genuine PRS electronics backplate has a triangle shape, is surface mounted and is made for the SE Series. As a surface mount plate, it sits on top of the body over the cavity opening.

It protects the wiring in the control cavity and can be removed when the electronics need service. SE Series guitars use different backplate shapes, so check that this part matches your guitar’s model and year before ordering.
