Why choose a locking tuner?

Locking tuners clamp the string at the post, so you do not need to wind several wraps around it. This generally makes string changes quicker and helps the tuning stay stable. Many players choose them for that reason.

Choosing the right replacement tuner

Before you order, check these points on your guitar:

Which tuner you need to replace, and whether it sits on the treble side of the headstock, as this listing is for a single treble side tuner.
Whether the ivory buttons match the other tuners on your guitar.
Whether the collar design matches the tuners you already have.

If you are not sure which tuner fits your instrument, contact us before ordering. We can advise you at our showroom in Hilversum.

Fitting and setup

Replacing a tuner is usually straightforward, but a careful setup keeps the guitar playing in tune. Our workshop offers guitar repairs six days a week, so you can have the tuner fitted and the guitar checked by experienced technicians.
