Maple fingerboard: what to expect

Many guitarists choose a maple fingerboard when they want a snappier, brighter feel under the fingers. Combined with the HSH pickup layout and the coil tap switches, this guitar offers a wide range of sounds from one instrument.

If you are unsure whether maple suits your playing, compare it with other guitars in the PRS Bolt-On range. The fingerboard material changes how a guitar feels and sounds, so trying one in person helps.
