PRS Tekton T Slate Blue overview
The PRS Tekton T is the tremolo version of the new Tekton family from PRS Guitars. It combines the Tekton body shape, shallow violin carve and sculpted neck heel with a 25.5″ scale length, 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, a 16″ fretboard radius and the thin Modern “D” neck carve.
This guitar is finished in Slate Blue with a natural satin maple neck. The body has a figured mango top on a mahogany back in high-gloss nitro.

Where is the PRS Tekton T made?
This PRS Tekton T is made in the USA. It comes with a PRS Premium Gig Bag.
Stylus pickups
The PRS Stylus pickups were developed for the Tekton family. They use Alnico 5 magnets and have a flatter, lower output than many high-gain humbuckers (around 13k treble and 11k bass DC resistance), which keeps notes clear under gain and makes them work well with both tube amps and digital modelers. The push/pull tone control splits the coils, giving six usable sounds from the 3-way blade switch.
Bridge and tuning
The PRS Two-Point Tremolo with steel plate and brass saddles can be set up floating and is paired with PRS Phase III locking tuners for tuning stability. The brass saddles add to the resonance of the instrument.
If you plan to use the tremolo a lot, ask us about setup in our repair workshop. A good setup helps a tremolo guitar stay in tune and feel the way you want.
Neck and playability
The bolt-on maple neck has hormigo strength rods for stability and resonance, an ebony fretboard with offset dot inlays and blue Luminlay side dots. String spacing matches the PRS Silver Sky and Fiore, slightly wider than traditional PRS spacing. The body has an exaggerated scoop for upper-fret access and a belly carve.
Who is this guitar for?
- Players who want a bolt-on PRS with a tremolo and a flatter, clear-sounding pickup voice.
- Guitarists who use tube amps or digital modelers and want pickups that suit both.
- Anyone who likes a slim Modern “D” neck and easy access to the upper frets.
