This genuine PRS push/pull potentiometer is a 500k tone pot with a built-in switch. Turning the knob works as a normal tone control, while pulling the knob up or pushing it down operates the switch, which is commonly used for functions such as coil splitting, depending on how the guitar is wired.

Push/pull pots take up more depth than a standard pot, so the control cavity needs room for it. Check that this part matches your guitar’s model and year before ordering.
