Choosing a guitar cabinet to pair with your amp head

When you match a cabinet to a head, check three things:

Impedance: the cabinet impedance should match an output setting on your amplifier head. This cabinet is rated at 8 Ohms.
Power handling: make sure the cabinet rating suits the output of your head. This cabinet is rated at 70 Watts.
Cabinet design: a closed back cabinet like this one is a popular choice for a tight, focused low end, while open back designs sound more airy.

Always check the manual of your amplifier head before connecting a cabinet. If you are unsure which setup suits your playing, the team at House of Guitars can give you advice.
