Who is this PRS McCarty a good fit for?

The McCarty suits players who want a PRS with a stoptail bridge, a non-locking tuner setup and a simple control layout. With a volume control, a push/pull tone control and a 3-way toggle, it is easy to dial in and easy to live with on stage or in the studio.

If you are comparing several guitars, pay attention to how the neck feels in your hand, how the guitar balances on a strap and how the pickups respond to your amp. Every instrument plays a little differently, so trying it in person is always worth it.

Looking after a nitro finish

A High Gloss Nitro finish rewards some care. Wipe the guitar down with a soft cloth after playing, keep it in its case when not in use and avoid stands or wall hangers that are not nitro-safe. Fresh strings and a regular setup help keep the guitar playing at its best.
