PRS SE Silver Sky Moon White with maple neck and maple fretboard

The PRS SE Silver Sky Moon White is the white version of the SE Silver Sky Maple. It combines a poplar body with a bolt-on maple neck and a maple fretboard with the PRS bird inlays. It is priced at 829 EUR and is in stock at House of Guitars Europe.

The Silver Sky is a model that was first introduced with John Mayer in 2018. The SE Silver Sky Maple is a familiar take on that original design, and it is available in three distinct colors. This listing is for the Moon White version.

Feel and playability

The neck has 22 frets, a 25.5″ scale length and the original 635JM neck shape. The fretboard radius is 8.5″, and the PRS SE medium fret wire is used. The nut width is 1 41/64″, widening to 2 15/64″ at the body. The maple fretboard and maple neck give this version a consistent, uniform look from the headstock to the last fret.

Sound: three 635JM single-coil pickups

The three 635JM “S” single-coil pickups are the heart of the sound. With the 5-way blade switch you can select each pickup on its own or the in-between combinations. The volume and two tone controls keep the layout simple and easy to use on stage or at home.
