PRS Swamp Ash Special Vintage Natural: what you get

The PRS Swamp Ash Special belongs to our PRS Bolt-On category. It combines a solid swamp ash body with a violin carve and a Pattern Regular maple neck. The pickups are two 58/15 LT humbuckers with a Narrowfield single-coil style pickup in the middle, a combination that suits players who want one guitar for many styles.

Two mini toggle switches give you coil tapping. The 5-way blade pickup switch, a volume control and a tone control keep the layout simple and easy to use on stage or in the studio.

Is this guitar right for you?

An HSH layout with coil taps is a flexible setup. Humbuckers give a fuller sound, while tapping a coil usually gives a brighter and more open character, which is useful for clean rhythm parts. If you like to compare guitars in person, our showroom in Hilversum is the place to do it.

A nitro finish is a thin finish that many players love for its look and feel. Keep the guitar away from extreme heat and wipe it down with a soft cloth after playing to keep the gloss in good shape.
